In 1934, George Gershwin looked for ways to finance the time he would spend writing his opera ‘Porgy And Bess’. He agreed to do a twice weekly radio program. Long thought lost, recordings of these programs have been found and preserved. It’s another opportunity to hear George at the piano, playing and talking about his work.
